The original forerunner of the Yorkshire Building Society was founded in 1864 at Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. Following a series of mergers, the Yorkshire Building Society was created in 1982. It is the fourth largest building society in the UK.

The society has 131 branches, located throughout the UK.

Discount Mortgages: 2 year discounted variable rate mortgages and remortgages.

Tracker Mortgages: 3 year base rate tracker mortgages and remortgages.

Offset Mortgages: 2 year and 5 year fixed rate and lifetime base rate tracker mortgages and remortgages.
