The Tipton and Coseley Building Society was founded in 1901 at Tipton in the West Midlands. It is the 38th largest building society in the UK.
The society has four branches in the West Midlands, at Tipton, Coseley, Bilston and Sedgley.
Fixed Rate Mortgages: 3 year and 5 year fixed rate mortgages and remortgages.
Discount Mortgages: 2 year discounted variable rate mortgages.
Shared Ownership Mortgages: 3 year fixed rate and 3 year discounted mortgages and remortgages.
Standard Variable Rate Mortgage: a variable rate mortgage where monthly repayments go up and down in line with the lender’s base rate, with cashback option.
Interestingly, the Tipton and Coseley Building Society began its life sharing offices with a local solicitors firm. Since then, the building society has grown considerably and now operates from a large headquarters in the West Midlands.
Specialising purely in mortgages and savings has enabled the Tipton and Coseley Building Society to remain experts in their field. All customers are given one to one attention and are able to get personalised advice on the best way to plan for their financial future both short and long term.
Saving plans focus on long term steady gains that are both secure and predictable, whilst mortgages focus on affordability, flexibility with built in certainty. Combining both products allow customers to have a good grasp on their future and as this is a mutual building society all profits are passed back to the members making sure that the products offered are good value at all times.
