Tesco itself does not offer mortgages directly, although they have recently joined forces with London and Country mortgages to offer customers a no fee, mortgage advice service. The Tesco and London and Country mortgages service is effectively a broker service where the whole mortgage market is available and a recommendation on the best option for each individual borrower can be made.

As Tesco does not take any fee for this service the rates offered remain excellent value for customers. Alongside the mortgage broker service, Tesco has a range of additional financial offerings including savings, insurances, loans and investments.

Discounts are offered for products purchased online or for customers who purchase multiple products at the same time. Tesco is a well known household name in terms of shopping and supermarkets; however, the finance section is conducted entirely online and through UK based call centres. This ensures that the best possible prices are passed on to the end consumer. Packs of information and application forms are available at most supermarket outlets.
