The Skipton is one of the few mutual building societies that has branches across the UK. The head office is in Skipton and this is where most of the charity work is undertaken by the society.
As a mutual building society, the Skipton is able to offer all members a cut of the profits in terms of favourable borrowing rates and good rates if return on savings. As well as a wide range of mortgages, the Skipton also offers enhanced investment opportunities including ISAs, long term investment which can be packaged with mortgages or used as stand alone products.
Individual advice is offered in branch as well as over the phone and online. Long term financial security is at the heart of the Skipton philosophy and ensures that members stay with the society for a lifetime.
