GMAC RFC, in its current form, was launched in the UK in 1998. Since then it has become the 10th largest mortgage lender in the UK. The company is a subsidiary of ResCap (Residential Capital Corporation), a major worldwide lender. Mortgage products are marketed through intermediaries.

Tracker Mortgages: 3 year base rate tracker mortgages and remortgages.
Buy To Let Mortgages: 2 year and 3 year fixed rate, 3 year stepped rate tracker, lifetime tracker, 2 year discounted rate mortgage options available for a maximum of up to 25 properties with a total value up to £3 million.
Sourced entirely through independent financial advisors, GMAC has the benefit of reduced administration costs which can then be passed onto the consumer. Despite having no direct branches, GMAC is one of the largest mortgage providers in the country.
GMAC works in an innovative way that ensures that all profits made are invested into new products enabling the lender to provide the opportunity to make further savings on the mortgage, products which can be passed on in the form of better rates.
