The Bath Building Society (formerly known as the Bath Investment & Building Society) has been operating as a mutual building society in and around the city of Bath for more than one hundred years. It is the 46th largest building society in the UK.

Buy for Uni Fixed Rate Mortgage: 5 year fixed rate mortgages, aimed at higher education students (in conjunction with their parents) wishing to purchase property for occupation whilst undertaking their studies.

Standard Variable Rate Mortgage: a variable rate mortgage where monthly repayments go up and down in line with the lender’s base rate.

Bath Building Society won the Innovator of the Year and Local Lender Award in 2006 / 2007, which is indicative of the tailoring that the building society offers.
